I enjoyed the above piece on Malik Mack and on whether he will be a more efficient scorer at PC than he was at Georgetown.
I don't know if you attended the recent "Day in the Life Camp" at PC but if so, I'd be interested in your impressions of Clyde Walters. When I read descriptions of Walters' game, the descriptions never fail to mention his athleticism. He looks to be about the same size as Jamier Jones. How would you compare their games? Is Walter as athletically gifted as Jones? In your opinion, does Walters have the potential to come in as a freshman and impact the game in the same way Jones did last year?
Yes, I was at the camp. I didn't write about it, as my impression was that the preference was to keep parts of the events behind closed doors. It was outstanding, btw. Walters is very talented and showed some toughness and an ability to score. That being said, I imagine it will be an uphill battle for minutes with the depth this team has on the wings. No knock on Walters, I like his game, but he's not as far along physically as the more experienced guys. He's a more natural scorer than Jamier (and a better shooter), while not as strong and not quite the same level athlete (which very few are). My assumption is he'll spend the year learning and growing before turning into a good piece in 27-28.
