1. Only 39 players in the nation have made 250 3-pointers over the past four seasons. Noah Locke, who announced that he would spend his graduate season at Providence after three years at Florida and one with Louisville, is one of them.

Locke’s 285 threes are the 17th most in the country over the last four years, and his .387 shooting from long distance is the ninth best mark of all players who made 250+ threes since 2018-2019.

Locke’s numbers dipped last year at Louisville, where he shot 34.2% from distance after making them at over 40% in three seasons at Florida.

His shooting figures as a Gator were very impressive. During Locke’s three years at Florida he was one of seven players in the country to make 200 threes while shooting them at over 40%. He was one of five high major players to do so, and the rest of the names are quite familiar to Friar fans — Marcus Zegarowski and Mitchell Ballock of Creighton, Marquette’s Markus Howard, and Gonzaga’s Corey Kispert.

2. Following the commitments of Locke, South Carolina combo guard Devin Carter, and La Salle big man Clifton Moore, there was a lot of buzz this week around transfers Bryce Hopkins (Kentucky) and Corey Floyd (UConn).
