News and Notes: Learning More about New Preferred Walk-on Scott Morozov, Taking on TCU in the Big East/Big 12 Battle, and More

1. Providence updated the roster page on Friars.com with the names and numbers of everyone on the 2022-23 roster.

Over the past week, a new name was added: Scott Morozov from the Hoosac School in New York. Morozov is listed as a 6’6, 225 pound forward from Toronto. I reached out to get more information on him and found out the following:

He is originally from Ukraine and moved with his family to Toronto when he was eight years old. Morozov played for the same Northern Kings AAU program that produced Matteus Case. He is an outstanding student with a near 4.0 GPA in high school.
