Happy to see all of the backcourt depth, but one guy over 6’8” on the roster is a (Pinnis??) scary proposition down low on the blocks. We need to add more quality bigs; simple enough. Reflecting on last season and having only Oswin + Hargrove really contribute was obviously one of our biggest achilles heels. Last thought, to see Anton Bonke being pursued by the Kansas’ of the world is beyond words frustrating. Sadly, English was really short sighted on that kid.
A nice addition today Marty, the kid, Leo Marangon, is on board from Italy and shows good metrics. He’s improved his shot substantially from the prior season to this year.
One key question is does the new staff keep Pinnis on the roster..? He has size, so I’m hoping that he adds some foot speed + works on his agility this offseason. Leaning towards carrying at least 3 myself; Pinnis + the new kid Aletan (Yale) who just committed + one more at minimum. We’ve had back-to-back below average seasons, so I’m optimistic for 2027’.
This is going to be a very exciting team. On paper some of the best defensive players we’ve seen. We have some guys that can score with anybody.

Definitely a swing and miss on Bonke. Hargrove was a big disappointment. I see something in Pinnis that could help. We need another big man for sure.
