Hi Ken. John Motley PC degrees in 66 and 68. Devoted Friar fan. I've never commented before, but I just had to say that I agree with you completely. The decision to sit Jones was akin to pulling the plug on the game. I have questioned Coach English's player combinations and player playing time decisions since the beginning of the season, but benching Jones Saturday made NO SENSE. He was the offensive and defensive energy on the floor.
Kevin - you’re been more than generous with your commitment to this program considering how incredibly frustrating this team is to watch. You owe no apologies for not attending.
Pretty obvious the failure falls squarely on coaching with Cooley out coaching English with lesser talent. As did Smart and Pitino. Sad actually as the future of this program is uncertain.
If the Friars played basketball with half the consistency of Kevin Farrahar's writing we'd all be talking about which March Madness site we would be headed to in seven weeks. Great write-up as always, appreciate the work through good seasons and bad.
So disappointed in this team that has the best talented players that I’ve seen in years. Watching the post game interviews is just as hard as watching the game. Tired of listening to Coach blaming himself after every game. It looks to me like the players body language has little faith in whatever he preaching to them.
Well, and fairly, stated. I am also beginning to think this transfer class is overrated. We have been hearing how talented the roster is. After 20 games, I do not see it.
I'd encourage Nap & Fr. Ricardo to watch the interviews with RKK where he describes the decision to cut the cord with Jerod Mayo after just one very sad season.
Took 1 hour to get a code to post, then it doesn’t work, then it works. 78 team have spent 10 million plus on NIL. Coaches have attempted to make adjustments and the players are not doing what was instructed. Davis is gone?
This is a very talented team but very poorly coached. You have the best Frosh in BE sitting most of second half, no drawn plays at the end, no timeouts. A total collapse every game.

Beyond frustrating, they are tough to watch. They are basically pros with the amount of NIL monies paid to them. It is not a pretty picture right now.
Dont ever put a game, even if its Powerball Eddie coming to town, over a family committment.
Thanks for your coverage.

Appreciate it, Bill. Loyal readers like you keep me going.

Waking up to Providence being in dead last in the big east. Pathetic.

A few months ago, I commented that I had no belief in KE coaching this team. I hate where this program stands but a change is needed.
Amen!
