Compliments to you are your team for a very entertaining and informative newsletter. Please keep up the great content and the clean crisp style. Something a little different and more in depth from Bill Ricci’s excellent podcasts along the lines of “ Where are they now?” would be interesting. Although some former players may want to maintain a level of privacy which definitely should be adhered to , it would be interesting to learn of the paths players have traveled after leaving PC. Bill does a very good job with players recounting their careers but only has time to touch on their current lives briefly. Just a thought…

Would love to see some sort of weekly preview of opponents as the season gets underway. The Mets beat writer for the Athletic, Tim Britton does something like this most Mondays of the season; here's one example (https://theathletic.com/2786865/2021/08/24/this-week-in-mets-giants-dodgers-show-importance-of-internal-improvement/). It's a quick way to get a beat on what's upcoming and review what has happened. Might be more suited for the rhythms of a baseball schedule, but I could see it working well for college hoops as well. Love everything on the site thus far. Looking forward to the podcast series. 03-04 was my freshman year at PC, unforgettable season in both good and bad ways.

Hi Dan, great idea (been a fan of Tim for a while) and I am planning on some sort of weekly look ahead as the season approaches. The 04 pod is coming together -- it's taken longer to edit than I originally anticipated, but we're close.

Love the new site! Excited for the podcast series. In the future I would love some posts on former friars and where they are playing/how they are doing. Even some non-basketball updates for guys who aren’t playing pro like ted bancroft etc. that might be a lot but think it could be interesting. Also if that was already posted in some way and I missed it than my bad haha!

Hi Ant, that's a really good call. Speaking of the pod series, if you are interested in hearing more from former players who are both in and out of the game, I would definitely check out Billy Ricci's The Friar Podcast. It's been great to hear from grads like Kyron Cartwright, Jamel Thomas, and Sham, but also guys like Ray Hall and Brian McKenzie. Billy does a nice job asking them about what they are doing in their post-basketball lives. I can also look into features along those lines as well. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the new site. I hope it comes through, but I am very much reenergized with this new venture.
